Fall’s here, which means vibrant fall foliage and cooler temps.  During the month of October, we also have lots of fun, interesting and scary things happening in our communities!

From art festivals to haunted hayrides, check out our list and have a most BOO-tiful time!

Beverly - Halloween on the Hill

Go explore as Long Hill is transformed into a celebration of autumn and the Halloween season.  Follow the seasonal-themed trail that will feature over 1,000 jack-o’-lanterns, hundreds of mums and pumpkins, elaborate Halloween sets, light displays, music, and more.

Boston - Fall Pumpkin Float Festival at Frog Pond

Visitors are encouraged to dress up and to bring a jack-o-lantern to launch into Frog Pond, where hundreds of illuminated jack-o’-lanterns will be floated on the water accompanied by spooky family activities.

Since 1965, rowers have come from near and far to take part in the world’s largest Regatta. But the fun isn’t limited to competitors. There are many ways for spectators to get involved in the weekend’s festivities.

This lighted experience will highlight fall colors and provide a special after dark walk through the heart of Tower Hill. Celebrate the season with a half-mile illuminated evening stroll through the gardens. Last year’s Autumn Illuminated event sold out, so reserve your tickets while they last.

Boylston - American Craft Fair at Tower Hill Botanic Garden

The Worcester Center for Crafts and Tower Hill Botanic Garden have partnered to present the 5th annual juried fair of American Craftwork. The show will feature over 30 fine artisans representing ceramics, jewelry, wood, metal working, glass, mixed metals, painting, fiber arts and more.
